The inspiration was paris cafe’s, irregular/hand-drawn details, designer’s sketchbooks and quintessential french details.

This project was like a merging of my past lives. studying abroad in paris, working at fashion ateliers with industry titans, and a blend of analog and digital illustration.

After designing and sketching the window out, I sent out the decal files to our vendor partner, and acquired materials to get painting.

there were many curious mall-walkers who stopped and watched me work. after a couple days of measuring out and painting, pumpz ended up with a bespoke design that couldn’t possibly be replicated.
