Overview
Michele Betsill is an academic coach, a holistic yoga teacher, and professor based in Colorado, USA and Copenhagen, Denmark. She offers programs that support academics in all phases of their careers against burnout and fatigue. She integrates her lived experience, yoga philosophy, and coaching education in her practice.
The Brief
Create a space online that speaks to her breadth of offerings; yoga, coaching, teaching experience. Tell her story through warmth and authenticity, to draw her audience in with trust and understanding.
OUR APPROACH
Though the assets were limited, this brand and web design project still managed to create a world that speaks to the depth of experience Michele Betsill offers to her clients. With symbolism like the lotus flower and solar-plexus yellow, we wove in a nod to yoga, which is a large point of inspiration for her practice.
We also tapped into the Scandinavian concept of Hygge, creating a space online that feels cozy, warm, authentic, and lived-in. This serves as a welcome mat at the front door, a hot cup of tea upon arrival, and a comfortable stay; just as you might experience during your time with Michele.
THERE IS NO ONE RIGHT WAY TO BE AN ACADEMIC.
TESTIMONIAL
“Leni was a joy to work with! With her patient guidance through strategy, branding, and web design, I gained clarity, confidence, and the language to articulate what I have to offer in my coaching relationships. I especially loved the Magic Mirror exercise, which not only revealed the core of what my business is about but also captured the essence of who I am as the person behind the business. I appreciated her insightful questions, creative inspiration, and encouragement at every step of the process, and I am thrilled with the end result–a visual brand that screams authenticity.”
